This is a historic place to stay that offers two large porches that are available to all guests, one on the first story and one on the second story. On the porches there were comfortable chairs to sit on with views of the shaded yard. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we have had at any bed and breakfast. The food was homemade with gluten free options.

Perfect location. The host is amazing from check in to breakfast Chef. The breakfast was delicious...loved the made from scratch Biscuits and jam! The building is old but so quaint. Twelve foot high ceilings. Very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. We loved the location. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

Historical and lovely. Beautiful 12 foot ceilings. So peaceful and quiet. I was in awe and wanted to stay longer. I would drive the two hours just to hang out in this place for the weekend. Also, great water pressure and plenty of hot water which can't always be expected in an older home.

The owner Paul was an excellent host, offering to help in any way needed, and provided a great breakfast. We became friends and will keep in touch beyond the B&B stay. We were able to walk to a different restaurant for each meal and the restaurant choices and quality were great.

Paul was wonderful. He made us feel welcome and seemed to enjoy being a host very much. He provided a great breakfast on the mornings we were there and offered us whatever we wanted including a treat on Christmas Eve and a sweet gift to take with us. The home was also just as wonderful. We will definitely be back!

The staff was exceptional from check in to check out. The charm of an 1800s building coupled with modern convenience made for a wonderful stay. Plus, the other guests we met and had breakfast with made for a really enjoyable getaway. And the breakfast was great!

Wonderful experience. Beautiful old house, period antiques, clean, comfortable, friendly and inviting atmosphere, super friendly and accommodating host, amazing delicious breakfast choices, and comfy common rooms to mingle and talk with other guests. Also, an easy walk to town and restaurants.

Easy access from street, close to downtown, host was friendly and welcoming. Being a historic site we enjoyed the decor. The breakfast was great, filling and delicious. The host took time to chat and share the history of the building.
